Ashley McDonald is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Head of Tax at Mawer Investment Management since July 2023. Previously, Ashley held the position of Tax Manager at Clio from October 2021 to July 2023 and at KPMG in the Cayman Islands from November 2019 to October 2021. Earlier in Ashley's career, a role as US Tax Manager was undertaken at KPMG Canada, lasting from June 2013 to November 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Tax Law/Taxation and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calgary.
