Steve Rheinberger

Steve Rheinberger serves as the Executive General Manager for Health at MAX, where strategic and operational leadership is provided for AKG Health, managing a diverse portfolio of six P&Ls and leading a workforce of over 400 professionals since March 2023. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions at Mercer from October 2016 to April 2022, including Program Director for Transformation, where significant cost transformation initiatives were executed, and Executive for Client Management, leading a team of 60 senior Relationship Managers. Steve's career began in the health sector as a clinician, consultant, and business owner from June 1994 to November 2003. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Sydney, an MBA from RMIT University, a Diploma of Financial Services from 360 Adviser Campus, and a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
