Katherine Henry

Director of Content & Coaching at MAX Sports Health, Inc.

Katherine strives to find ways to make sense of complex issues and to impact the world for the better. As a licensed athletic trainer for the last 16 years, she has held many roles including the Head Athletic Trainer for the New England Free Jacks of Major League Rugby, an athletic trainer for USA Rugby with the Women’s 15s program, and the medical director for Beantown Women’s Rugby of the Women’s Premier League. She also has Divisions 1 and 3 collegiate experience with soccer, softball, football and many other sports, as well as comprehensive experience with high school athletes and adolescents and adults who are completely new to exercise.

Katherine has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She has worked at all levels of sport from high school, college, and universities, to premier league and the pros. Katherine believes the whole person approach that elite athletes thrive in, is the key to everyone's successes in their own goals.

When not working, Katherine loves watching sports, lifting heavy things, and spending time outside with her family. Even though she can be as tough as the toughest rugby player, she always cries at the movies and is a sucker for baby goats. Katherine provides her clients with many years of experience, comprehensive knowledge about both recovery and preventative care, as well as performance enhancement. She believes in meeting her athletes where they are now--wherever that may be--and taking them to the next level, according to their goals.
