Adam Sonin has had a long and varied career in the financial sector. Adam began in 1987 as a Traders Assistant for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Adam then moved to Berisford Capital Markets Group (BCMG) in 1988, where they worked as a Currency Options Broker. In 1998, they became the Head of Emerging Markets for Prebon Marshall Yamane. In 2002, they were appointed Head of Shipping Derivatives ACM-GFI for GFI Group. From 2008 to 2013, they worked for BGC Partners, first as a Shipping & Commodities representative, then as the Head of EM FX Options. In 2013, they joined Maxeler Technologies as Global Head of Distribution and a Representative. Adam also worked as a Consultant Advisor/Project Manager for Doing it our Way in 2013.
Adam Sonin attended Syracuse University from 1983 to 1987 and earned a B.Sc. in Finance.
