Matthew Kasdin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various legal and corporate roles. Matthew is currently the Director and Senior Counsel at Maxeon Solar Technologies, overseeing the company's ESG program and managing complex litigation. Matthew also serves as a Lecturer on Corporate Ethics and Sustainability at Singapore Management University. Prior to these roles, Matthew worked as a Director and Senior Counsel at SunPower Corporation, providing advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Matthew has also served as the General Counsel at LivingSocial and as a Vice President at Clermont Group. Matthew began their career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins, representing investment banks and private equity firms. Matthew has also held positions at the United Nations Global Compact, the U.S. Department of State, ICTY, and the High Court of Zimbabwe.
Matthew Kasdin has a Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law) degree in International Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Matthew also holds a Diploma from The College Preparatory School. In addition, they have a BA degree in History and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Matthew also pursued studies in International Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Matthew has obtained additional certifications such as ESG Investing Certification from CFA Institute, Licence to Advise on Corporate Finance and Securities from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and Attorney (License to Practice Law) from the New York State Unified Court System.
