Sean Dong

Sean (Xiao) Dong has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Sean (Xiao) most recently served as the Private Equity Vice President and Head of Nutrition at Maxim Partners, LLC since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an MBA Intern in the Venture & Growth team at Sequoia Capital from June to September 2021. In 2020, they gained experience in Growth Equity at Prelude Growth Partners. Sean also worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Nomura from 2018 to 2020, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Hood & Company from 2017 to 2018. Sean (Xiao) started their career in finance as an Investment Banking Analyst at Houlihan Lokey from 2016 to 2017.

Sean (Xiao) Dong completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance at the UVA McIntire School of Commerce in 2016. Prior to that, they studied Commerce, Statistics, and Economics at the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2016. In 2013, Sean participated in a summer session exchange program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on Alternative Investments. Recently, Sean pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The Wharton School from 2020 to 2022.
