Harold Horton

Senior Vice President, Higher Education Practice at Maximus

Harold Horton currently serves as the Senior Vice President for the Higher Education Practice at MAXIMUS, a position held since November 2005. Previously, Harold held the role of Director of Ohio's Higher Education Information System from 1998 to 2005 within the Ohio Board of Regents. Experience also includes serving as University Registrar and Assistant Dean at Franklin University from 1993 to 1998 and as Assistant Dean of The College at Wesleyan University between September 1990 and October 1993. Earlier in their career, Harold was a Program Manager for Project REACH at Freedom House, Inc. from 1987 to 1990 and worked as a Management Consultant at Accenture from 1985 to 1987. Harold's educational background includes a Master of City Planning in Management and Public Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics-Computer Science from Trinity College-Hartford, complemented by a Project Management Professional certification from the Institute of Project Management.
