Kon Yew Fong

Kon Yew Fong has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Kon Yew is currently working at Maxis as the Head of Enterprise Cloud Support. Prior to this, they worked at Peering One Sdn Bhd. from 2016 to 2021, where they held positions such as Operation Tech Lead and Technical Team Lead. At Peering One Sdn Bhd., they were responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day activities of the IT department, ensuring reliable and secure systems and infrastructure. Kon Yew also designed and implemented high availability solutions in the cloud environment. Before that, Kon Yew Fong worked at Nutanix as a Nutanix System Engineer, where they identified technology opportunities and matched them with customers' business needs. Kon Yew also provided technical expertise, account management, and customer support to drive sales. Kon Yew began their career at HCL Technologies as a Senior IT analyst lead, providing technical product support and promoting continuous improvement. Kon Yew also worked as a Desktop onsite lead at both HCL Technologies and CSC.

Kon Yew Fong attended Kolej KDU from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they obtained several certifications in various fields, including cloud computing, virtualization, and networking, from institutions such as Alibaba Cloud, VMware, and Dell. The obtained certifications range from 2015 to 2020.
