Sumit Dutta

Sumit Dutta is a seasoned professional in the actuarial and financial risk management fields, currently serving as the Corporate Vice President and Head of Financial Risk Management at Max Life Insurance Company Limited since April 2016. Prior to this role, Sumit Dutta worked as a Product Actuary at Swiss Re from September 2007 to April 2016, and as a Business Manager at GE Capital International Services from January 2001 to August 2007. Academic credentials include Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Fellow (FIA) from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, as well as Fellow (FIAI) from the Institute of Actuaries of India. Sumit Dutta holds a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics (Hons) from Presidency College.
