Jon Alexander

Jon Alexander is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in semiconductor product and business strategy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Industrial and Multi-Market at MaxLinear since August 2018, Jon oversees a portfolio of 500 products across five categories. Previously, Jon held the role of Product Line Director, successfully guiding a team to transition numerous products from concept to silicon in various markets. Prior to MaxLinear, Jon served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager while self-employed in real estate investment and as Senior Manager of Market Development and Technical Marketing at Xilinx, leading teams focused on FPGA solution stacks. Jon's career began at Actel, where management of global Applications Engineering and Technical Support contributed to significant improvements in team performance and customer satisfaction. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Trinity University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
