Cory Blaser

Chief of Staff at Maxwell Biosciences

Cory Blaser has had a long and distinguished career in the military, beginning in 2008 as the Executive Officer of the USS Doyle. In 2010, they attended the National War College at the National Defense University. In 2012, they were appointed Commanding Officer of the USS Nicholas, where they were responsible for the combat, material, operational, and training readiness of the ship. From 2014 to 2017, Blaser served as Secretary to the Joint Staff and Director of Current Operations at the United States Africa Command. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Navy Liaison to the United States Transportation Command, where they were responsible for worldwide logistics support and advice. In 2019, they were appointed Chief of Staff of the Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense at the United States Strategic Command. Finally, in 2022, Blaser became the Chief of Staff at Maxwell Biosciences.

Cory Blaser obtained a BS in Chemistry from The Citadel between 1991 and 1995. Cory then went on to obtain an MS in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University in 2010-2011. Cory also holds a certification in Defense Support of Civil Authorities from USAID.
