Patricia Valerio

Patrícia Valério is a scientific communications specialist currently working at MaxWell Biosystems, where responsibilities include the creation and dissemination of diverse materials to engage stakeholders and audiences globally. Previous experiences include roles as an external communications intern at Lonza, a science writer at BioNews Inc., and a science communication assistant at LYRIS. Patrícia has a strong research background, having served as a postdoctoral researcher and doctoral researcher at the University of Basel, along with various positions in other research institutions. Patrícia holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Basel, a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a specialization in Neurobiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Pharmacy from Universidade de Coimbra.
