Julien Frachon

Director Of Product Development Services at Maya HTT

Julien Frachon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. julien is currently the Director of Product Development Services at Maya HTT, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Product Manager at the same company since November 2019.

Before joining Maya HTT, Julien worked at MDA, where they held various positions. julien started as a Structural Analyst in March 2010 and later became a Manufacturing Engineer, specializing in composites, from June 2013 to August 2015. Julien also served as a Project Manager in the PMO and an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Their role at MDA also included being a Subcontract Specialist for spacecraft constellations and a Product Development Specialist for the OneWeb constellation, where they introduced Industry 4.0 methods in the space industry and developed new software.

Additionally, Julien had teaching experiences as a Junior Lecturer at Concordia University from September to December 2013 and as a Junior Lecturer at Ecole Polytechnique Montréal from March 2011 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, Julien worked as an R&D Engineer at Siemens, where they developed new solutions for the life extension program of Siemens land-based gas turbines in the UK and Sweden. julien also served as a Teacher Assistant at MINES ParisTech - Ecole des mines de Paris and a Research Assistant at the University of Waikato.

Julien Frachon earned a Master's degree in material and structures engineering from Ecole normale supérieure in 2007. julien then pursued a PhD in Material Science at Mines Paris from 2006 to 2009.
