Tareck Horchani

Tareck Horchani has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on trading and sales trading. Tareck is currently the Head of Trading and Sales Trading - Prime Brokerage at Maybank Investment Banking Group. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategist at SMBC Private Wealth at SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. In 2018, they held the position of Head of Operations at Quantfury. Tareck also worked at Saxo Bank as the Head of Global Sales Trading Asia Pacific, as well as the Director - Deputy Head Sales Trading APAC. Tareck's earlier experience includes roles at Louis Dreyfus Commodities as a Senior Trader, Citibank as the Director of Emerging Markets trading, and Deutsche Bank as the Director of Foreign Exchange - Asians NDF.

Tareck Horchani completed an MBA in Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University from 1995 to 1997.
