Austin Ngo

Austin Ngo has been working in the field of data engineering since 2018. Austin began their career as a Research Analyst at iData Research. In 2018, they also held the role of Analytics Consultant at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. In 2019, they became a Data Analyst at FPInnovations, where they extracted and transformed unstructured data, introduced and optimized machine learning models, and defined business metrics. In 2021, they moved to Noise Digital Inc. as a Data Engineer, where they engineered a new ELT data pipeline in Google Cloud Platform, automated a portion of the dashboard building process, and maintained and updated data pipeline code. Austin is currently employed as a Data Engineer at Mayday, a position they have held since 2022.

Austin Ngo obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in 2018, majoring in Business Analytics and Decision Making, Management Informations Systems, and Operations Management. In 2017, they attended the Copenhagen Business School, studying Business Administration and Management, General. In April 2020, they obtained a Tableau Desktop Specialist certification from Tableau Software.
