IT Director - Asia at Mayer Brown

Neville Metcalfe has over 24 years of work experience. Neville started their career at DLA Piper, where they worked as an IT Local Support from 1997 to 1999. Neville then progressed to the role of Technical Project Manager, managing international projects for the company. In 2005, they became the Infrastructure & Projects Manager for Asia, introducing IT working practices and setting up a new team.

After leaving DLA Piper in 2008, Neville worked as a self-employed Infrastructure Consultant, providing project management services and consultancy to companies expanding into China. Neville also served as a committee member for Shanghai Touch Rugby during this time.

In 2009, Neville joined PITT Services as a Business Services Manager, where they created and implemented project management and business consultancy services. Neville also managed the company's rebranding efforts.

In 2010, Neville joined Eversheds as the Business Infrastructure Manager, responsible for international real estate, facilities management, and business infrastructure across 12 offices. Neville later became the International Infrastructure Manager for the company.

In 2014, Neville moved to Mayer Brown as the IT Director for Asia.

Starting in 2016, Neville took up multiple roles with the Hong Kong Rugby League, including Chairman and Managing Director of HKRL & HKTag. Neville'sresponsibilities included growing rugby league and tag rugby in Hong Kong, increasing player and volunteer participation, and working with businesses to fulfill their sponsorship and community programs. Neville held these roles until 2022.
