Spencer Cording

Spencer Cording has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Spencer is currently working as an Applications Engineering Technologist at Mazak North America since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BD Diesel as a Machine Shop Supervisor from December 2022 to June 2023. Spencer also held roles such as Production Supervisor - Turbo & Fuel Department, Computer Numerical Control Programmer, and Lead Hand CNC Machinist at BD Diesel from 2013 to 2022. Before joining BD Diesel, they worked at Advantage Tool & Machine as a Journeyman Machinist and Apprentice Machinist from 2010 to 2013. Spencer gained early experience in their career as an Apprentice Machinist at Global Dental Direct from 2009 to 2010 and at Advanced Integration Technology from 2007 to 2009, where they also worked as a Shipping Receiving Specialist from 2006 to 2007.

Spencer Cording's education history includes various programs at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In 2008, they completed the Machinist Level 1 program in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist. The following year, in 2009, they finished the Machinist Level 2 program, again in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist. Spencer continued their education in 2010 by completing the Machinist Level 3 program. In 2011, they completed the Machinist Level 4 program. Lastly, in 2018, they pursued Solidworks training and completed both the Solidworks Level 1 and Level 2 courses, focusing on Autocad.
