Marcel van Noort has extensive work experience in the accounting and outsourcing services field. Marcel started their career at KPMG in 1995 as a Senior Assistant Accountant, where they handled client assignments and maintained client relationships. In 2000, they joined Mazars Nederland as a Senior Assistant Accountant and steadily progressed to become the Director of Accounting and Outsourcing Services. In this role, Marcel is responsible for maintaining client relationships, acquiring new clients, and overseeing services such as outsourcing, accounting, financial reporting, tax returns, and advisory. Alongside their professional roles, Marcel also served as a Member of the Professional Field Committee for Accountancy at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they were a member of the Supervisory Board at the Organization for Welfare Projects (HBWP) from 2006 to 2013, where they monitored financials.
Marcel van Noort has a strong educational background in the field of Accountancy and Tax. Marcel began their education at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 1991, where they completed a foundation course in Accountancy. From there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy at InHolland University of Applied Sciences, which they completed in 1996. Simultaneously, they attended the Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA) in 1996 for a brief period, specializing in Accountancy. Marcel further enhanced their expertise by attending the FB Tax Academy from 1996 to 2001, obtaining a Post-bachelor degree in Tax.
