Blase De Leo

VP, Brand Engagement and Training at Mazda Motor Corporation

Blase De Leo is the vice president of brand engagement and training for Mazda North American Operations (MNAO). In his current role, De Leo is responsible for leading the company’s brand engagement and training division, including employee engagement, customer experience, dealership and employee training. In his role, De Leo’s focus is on cultural transformation, fostering a company-wide customer centric mindset and driving brand engagement both internally and throughout Mazda dealerships nationwide. De Leo was appointed to his current position in April 2016.

De Leo joined Mazda in 1991 as a district sales manager in South Florida and has held a number of field operations roles in Mazda’s Northeast, Southeast and Midwest regional offices as well two Southern California-based corporate positions. He has also held positions where he was responsible for several Mazda dealerships in Northeast Florida.

Prior to joining Mazda, De Leo worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a management trainee.

De Leo grew up in Dublin, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Ohio State University. He currently resides in Southern California.
