Maze Therapeutics
Terrence Satterfield's work experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist II at Maze Therapeutics since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. where they held the positions of Senior Scientist II from February 2020 to September 2020, and Senior Scientist I from August 2017 to February 2020. Before joining BioMarin, Terrence was a Scientist II from 2013 to 2017 and a Scientist from July 2007 to August 2013, both at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Terrence began their career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Washington where they conducted research on the role of the ataxin-2 protein in the oxidative stress response and studied hypothalamic integrity in a mouse model of Huntington's disease.
Terrence Satterfield attended Stanford University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned an A.B. degree in Human Biology. Later on, they pursued further education and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington, which took place from 1998 to 2005.
