Jolee Perez Cebs

Jolee Perez, CEBS, has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to present. Jolee began their career as a Customer Account Manager at Pliant Corporation, where they managed accounts and implemented training programs. Jolee then joined The Home Depot as a Human Resource Manager, overseeing staffing, benefits, and performance management. Following this, they served as an Association Executive at GREATER MCALLEN ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, responsible for the successful management and oversight of the board. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Employee Benefits at the City of McAllen, TX, where they lead the tactical administration of all benefit programs and policies and actively researches innovative approaches to reduce healthcare spend.

Jolee Perez, CEBS, has a strong education history with a focus on business management and human resources. Jolee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Human Resources from Trinity International University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Jolee then attended the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2007 and earned a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) degree with a specialization in Business Management and Human Resources.

In addition to their formal education, Jolee has also obtained several certifications. Jolee completed the Teachers of English to Students of Other Languages certification from the International Open Academy in June 2019. Jolee is also a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), having completed the program at The Wharton School in July 2018. Jolee has further specialized in retirement plans by obtaining the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) certification also from The Wharton School in July 2018. Finally, Jolee earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) certification from The Wharton School in December 2017.
