Marcelo Perez has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Marcelo began their career in 1992 at Daewoo Argentina S.A. as the Responsible for the administration of external technical services. Marcelo then worked at Celulosa Argentina S.A. from 1993 to 1996, where they served as the Chief of the Instrumentation and Electrical area. Marcelo joined Molinos Rio de la Plata in 1996 and held the position of Plant Manager, overseeing production, maintenance, quality, and budgeting. Marcelo continued their managerial roles at Molinos Río de la Plata S.A., Aguas Danone de Argentina, and Grupo Danone, acquiring skills in operations, supply chain management, and industrial engineering. Marcelo joined Danone in 2012 as the Alternative Source Director before being promoted to the role of Director Industrial de Aguas Danone de Argentina. In 2015, they became the Operations Director at Aguas Danone de Argentina. Most recently, Marcelo has been working at McCain Foods as the Integrated Supply Chain Vice President Latam.
Marcelo Perez earned an Executive Master in Business Administration (Executive MBA) from IAE, Escuela de Dirección y Negocios, Universidad Austral in 2001-2002. Prior to that, they completed a Post Grado en Transformación de Productos Plásticos at INTI in 1998-1999. Marcelo also holds a degree in Industrial y telecomunicaciones, specifically an Ingeniero Electrónico, from UTN Regional Avellaneda, which they completed in the years 1987-1993.
