Tracy Hort

Tracy Hort is a seasoned professional in the food quality and safety sector with extensive experience at McCain Foods since 2003. As the current PLM Governance Manager, Tracy oversees a global team focused on standardizing ingredient, product, and packaging specifications, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Previous roles include PLM Business Deployment Lead, where project management and collaboration with IT and service providers were key, as well as Global Quality Manager for the McDonald’s business unit. Prior experience includes managing quality systems in regional QA and QA management at Premier Foods, as well as leadership in food quality and safety consulting at CSIR. Tracy holds a Higher Diploma in Food Science & Technology from Tshwane University of Technology.
