Sarp Uzkan has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and media industries. Sarp most recently worked at McClatchy as the SVP of Partnerships and Corporate Development. In this role, they were responsible for growing the company's revenue through partnerships and strategic business relationships. Sarp also led the company's corporate development efforts. Prior to their role at McClatchy, Sarp held positions at Tribune Publishing Company, where they served as the Vice President of Transformation and Vice President of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Head of Digital Product. In these roles, they were accountable for developing and executing the company's data strategy, leading corporate development efforts, and implementing technology solutions to drive revenue growth and cost reduction. Before Tribune, Sarp worked at the Chicago Tribune and Danly IEM in various IT leadership roles, where they managed IT infrastructure, led ERP software development, and oversaw E-commerce strategies. Sarp began their career at Westell, Inc., where they held roles in production planning, inventory management, project management, and system support. Sarp Uzkan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University. Sarp also obtained a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University, as well as an MBA in Business Administration from the same institution. Additionally, they completed a Business Professional's Course and a Professional Program in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and the accumulation of Power at The Aji Network.
