Hector Laffitte

Hector Laffitte has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as Counsel at McConnell Valdés LLC since February 2007. Previously, Hector served as a US District Judge for the District of Puerto Rico for over 24 years, including a tenure as Chief Judge. Areas of expertise include First Amendment law, litigation, mediation and arbitration, labor and employment law, government enforcement and white-collar defense, and government affairs. Hector holds LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Puerto Rico and Georgetown University, respectively.
