Doug Wells

Doug Wells is a Corporate Attorney with extensive experience in legal and business counsel since 2001. Currently serving as a Corporate Attorney at ESS, Inc. since 2024, Doug has held various roles, including Patent/IP Attorney at McCoy Russell LLP and Senior Counsel at Alleman Hall & Tuttle LLP from 2019 to 2024. Doug's previous positions include First In-house General Counsel and Patent Attorney at both Sunlight Supply, Inc. and Videx, Inc. from 2013 to 2018, as well as roles in supply and purchasing management at prominent automotive companies from 1992 to 2004 and engineering positions in the defense sector from 1985 to 1992. Doug holds a JD from Lewis & Clark Law School, a BSEE from Purdue University, and an MSIA/MBA from the Purdue University Daniels School of Business.
