Director eGgovernment at MCDE

John Doe is the current Director of eGgovernment at MCDE. Director has over 25 years of experience in government affairs and has held various positions in both the public and private sector.

John started their career as a Field Coordinator for the Midwest Region of the American Plastics Council. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating state lobbying efforts and interfacing with members of Congress on the Council's federal agenda. Director then transitioned to the role of Issues Staff for the Illinois House of Representatives where they assisted state legislators with crafting bills and amendments.

In 1995, John was hired as the Director of Government Affairs for the Chicago Housing Authority, where they served as a liaison to the Mayor's office and elected officials. Director was responsible for intergovernmental and legislative affairs for the second largest public housing authority in the United States. In this role, they coordinated state lobbying efforts with the Mayor's Intergovernmental Affairs Office, participated in weekly meetings with the Mayor's Director of Programs, and served as the primary contact between the Authority and City of Chicago Departments. Director also interfaced with members of Congress on the Authority's federal agenda and organized tours of housing properties for members of Congress and foreign dignitaries.

John has been in their current role as Director of eGgovernment at MCDE since 1997. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all electronic government initiatives and projects.

Principal eGov Officer - Principal eGov Officer, e-Gov Officer - e-Gov Officer report to Director eGgovernment. Director eGgovernment reports to Deputy Director ICT, Deputy Director ICT. They work with Senior ICT Support Technician - Senior ICT Support Technician, ICT Support Technician - ICT Support Technician, and Principal ICT Officer - Principal ICT Officer.
