The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy champions the sustainability of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve for the benefit of this and future generations. As stewards, we connect the community to the Preserve through education, research, advocacy, partnerships and safe, respectful access. The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy is a non-profit conservation organization that relies on our more than 650 volunteers to help protect and promote Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Our work includes providing public access to Preserve, protecting the Preserve through research and stewardship, and increasing the community's understanding and appreciation of the Preserve through educational programs and community events.
