Wolfgang U Sixl has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Wolfgang U started their career at Celanese as a Postgraduate Research Intern, where they conducted research and market assessments for a new filtering product. Wolfgang U then joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager, working on various consulting projects.

After that, Sixl joined Deutsche Telekom and held several leadership positions, including SVP Marketing Strategy, Programs & Insights Management and VP Area Management Europe. Wolfgang U played a crucial role in the successful transition of T-Mobile UK and Orange UK into EE Limited. Wolfgang U also led the development of the mobile data strategy and the introduction of the iPhone at T-Mobile in Germany.

Sixl later moved to T-Mobile, where they served as SVP Marketing - Marketing Services & Operations and VP Technology - Coverage Strategy & Network Experience. Wolfgang U was responsible for strategic pricing, marketing decision support, and large-scale programs for network planning and optimization. Wolfgang U contributed to significant cost savings and customer growth during their time at T-Mobile.

Most recently, Sixl worked at Opensignal as VP Business Solutions, leading the development of SaaS products and helping mobile operators leverage competitive insights and analytics on customer network experience. Wolfgang U successfully scaled the new business and contributed to substantial revenue growth.

Currently, Sixl is a Vice President of Marketing Operations & Data Monetization at mce, where they continue to leverage their expertise in marketing and data monetization.

Wolfgang U Sixl earned their PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physical Chemistry from Heidelberg University between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Physics (Business Administration, Minor-courses) from Goethe University Frankfurt.
