Join our team as a Director, Strategy in the Product Management & Strategic Alliances department, reporting directly to the VP, Product Management & Strategic Alliances and oversee a team of strategists.
The Director, Strategy is responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision of our organization. The successful candidate will lead the organization in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies that improve business operations, create growth opportunities, and increase market share. The Director, Strategy will collaborate with the executive team to ensure that the organization's goals, objectives, and strategies are aligned with its mission and vision.
The Strategy Team is an internal strategic consulting unit for MCG Health. On this team, you will focus on (a) corporate strategy to help drive our business growth, (b) lead developing business plans and commercialization strategy for MCG solutions, and (c) be a strategic partner to solve MCG's greatest challenges. Additionally, you will focus on all aspects of commercial strategy to help MCG win the market, including but not limited to:
o Solution business plans
o Pricing solutions
o Strategic partnerships that drive revenue
o Identifying MCG's distinctive competencies
o Financial forecasting
o Analyzing solution profitability
o Build, buy, partner decisions
o Assess and propose investment opportunities
You will:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and vision
· Research and analyze the market landscape to identify opportunities, threats, and trends
· Lead all aspects of strategic planning, including goal setting, resource allocation, and implementation
· Develop performance metrics to measure the success of strategic goals
· Monitor and report on the progress of strategies, plans, and initiatives
· Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and external organizations
· Support the executive team in decision-making and problem-solving
We’d love to hear from you if:
· Minimum of 5-7 years of strategy, management consulting, M&A or corporate development related experience
· 13+ years of overall experience with a Masters Degree, 15+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree
· Ability to dissect complex issues, analyze data, and draw insights to inform decisions
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
· Proficient with models and forecasting
· Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques
· Primary market research experience - conducting interviews, writing discussion guides, synthesizing results
· Experience writing and owning Product Business Plans
· Experiencing running strategy projects/engagements
· Excellent presentation skills – comfortable presenting in front of Executive Team
Additional Qualifications:
· Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong organizational and planning skills.
· Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
· Outstanding Project management skills.
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies
· Strong preference for former management consultants with at least 5 years of experience
· Strong Preference for experience in the Healthcare industry
· Degree in business or related field, MBA preferred.
Base Pay Range: $149,000.00 - $221,000
Other compensation: Commission eligible
