Jessica M. DeWitt is a seasoned historian and consultant with extensive experience in digital strategy, editorial management, and project coordination. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant on Special Projects with Active History and as Assistant Editor for the Edmonton City as Museum Project, Jessica also holds positions as a Historical and Digital Consultant for the Predator Microhistory Network and Managing Editor for Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. With a strong focus on environmental history, Jessica collaborates with numerous organizations, including the International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations and the Network in Canadian History and Environment. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan, Jessica has contributed significantly to various heritage projects and is actively involved in promoting discussions on the history of psychedelic plant medicines.
