Amber Thompson, CCP, CBP, currently serves as Vice President of Total Rewards at McGraw Hill since October 2022. Prior to this role, Amber held various positions at WESCO Distribution from February 2017 to October 2022, including Senior Director of Compensation, where responsibilities encompassed the strategic design and evaluation of compensation programs in alignment with organizational objectives. Additionally, Amber served as Director of Compensation and Compensation Manager, focusing on incentive pay structures and program development. Earlier career experience includes a Senior Manager position at Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, overseeing multiple compensation programs and their administration. Amber earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.
