Imani W.

Imani W. is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in teaching and youth development. Currently serving as a 4th Grade Lead Teacher and previously as a 3rd Grade Lead Teacher at KIPP DC since July 2020, Imani has also contributed as a Capital Teaching Resident. Additional experience includes working as a Lead Clinician for US Lacrosse since August 2018, a Corps Member at City Year from August 2019 to June 2020, and a Head Coach for Jersey Thunder Girls Lacrosse from August 2018 to July 2019. Imani began the career in education as a Teacher Assistant at Three Stages Daycare/Learning from June 2018 to April 2019 and held coaching roles with DEWLAX from June 2014 to August 2017. Imani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Longwood University, obtained in 2018.
