Renee Chester

Renee Chester, SHRM-CP, PHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and employee benefits. Renee currently works at McGriff as an Employee Benefits Client Relationship Executive, where they hold the position of Vice President since October 2023. Before joining McGriff, Renee worked at Regions Insurance Group as an Account Executive/HR Advisor from August 2015 to July 2018. Prior to that, they were employed at The A.I. Group, Inc. for eight years as an HR Specialist/Account Executive. Their responsibilities included assisting clients with benefit inquiries, claims resolution, eligibility maintenance, billing questions, and providing guidance on human resource-related issues. Renee also played a significant role in implementing agency management systems and developing client portals. Before their time at The A.I. Group, Renee worked as a Human Resources Manager at Byers Engineering Company from an unknown start date to August 2007.

Renee Chester, SHRM-CP, PHR, has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida, obtained from 1984 to 1989. In addition, they hold certifications including the SHRM-CP from SHRM in 2015 and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2004. Renee also obtained a Resident Agent - Life, Accident, Sickness certification from the State of Georgia - Office of Insurance in 2008.
