Philip N. Vorreiter

Philip N. Vorreiter joined MCIC Vermont in January 2009 as Senior Accountant and during his tenure has been promoted into a Manager, Director, Controller, and his most recent role, Vice President of Finance. In his capacity, Phil is responsible for the strategy and execution of all financial affairs of the Company including but not limited to, accounting, taxes, premiums, investments, and financial reporting. Throughout his tenure at MCIC Vermont, Phil has participated in and overseen the growth of the Finance and Accounting department as the Company insourced its accounting and GAAP financial reporting processes, merged entities, and established MAR-compliant internal controls environment along with numerous other achievements. Prior to joining MCIC Vermont, Phil was Assistant Controller at a Managing General Agent which focused on brokering non-standard lines of insurance.

Phil received his bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance and Marketing from Berry College and a master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University. Phil is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF).
