Nagwa Elshenawi

Nagwa Elshenawi has extensive experience in the field of communications and information technology. Since August 2014, Nagwa has served as Undersecretary at MCIT. Prior to this role, Nagwa was the Information Center Director at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology from July 2007 to July 2013 and served as a Member of the Technology Innovation Center & Entrepreneurship Executive Committee. Earlier career roles include Director of the Strategic Planning Department at the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) from June 2005 to June 2007, and Head of the Socio-economic Performance Sector at the Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) from January 2003 to July 2005. Nagwa holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, and has further education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
