J.B. McKibbon

As a young boy, J.B. remembers looking at a vacant piece of land while his father, Chairman John McKibbon, described everything it could become. Where J.B. saw dirt, his father saw a place where people would one day live, work and play. Today he’s been witness to that transformation many times.

J.B. joined the family business in 2017, where his role is to provide asset management and financial analysis support for current properties, and development analysis for proposed projects. Simply put, he spends most of his time doing what he loves: helping solve difficult problems, learning new things, and meeting interesting people.

Although the business bears his name, J.B. developed his resume in hospitality at a number of different companies, working his way up from laundry services. It’s that real-world, on-the-ground experience that’s helped shape his understanding of what hospitality truly means.
