Susan Fantin

Susan Fantin has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Susan is currently serving as the Vice President of Integrated Care Management at McLaren Health Care. Prior to this, they held the position of Corporate Director of CDI at McLaren Health Care. Before joining McLaren, Susan worked at Anthelio Healthcare Solutions as the VP of Clinical Documentation Improvement Services and later as the Senior Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement & Audit Services. Susan also gained experience as the Senior Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement at The Advisory Board Company and as a CDI Revenue Management Consultant at Trinity Health. Earlier in their career, Susan worked at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center as the Clinical Documentation Manager and at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in various roles such as Outcomes Manager, Clinical Documentation Specialist, ER and Inpatient Case Manager, Clinical House Supervisor, Patient Throughput Coordinator, Ambulatory Care Nurse, and Staff Nurse. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Pediatric Clinical Instructor at Oakland Community College. Susan holds several certifications including MSA, BSN, RN, ACM, CCDS, and CDIP.

Susan Fantin, MSA, BSN, RN, ACM, CCDS, CDIP has a Master of Science in Administration degree in Health Services from Central Michigan University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2009. Susan also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Madonna University, earned between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, Susan holds several certifications including Accredited Case Manager from the American Case Management Association (ACMA), Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) from the American Health Information Association, and Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) from ACDIS. Furthermore, they are registered as a nurse in the State of Michigan.
