Alex Leung

Alex Leung is an accomplished software and firmware engineer with extensive experience in industrial automation, IoT, and embedded systems. Currently serving as a Software Developer II at Intel Corporation since May 2024 and a Senior Software Engineer at mCloud Technologies Corp since August 2021, Alex has contributed to the entire project life cycle, focusing on developing automated workflows for connected infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Staff Firmware Engineer at Sendum Wireless, where Alex specialized in GPS tracking firmware, and as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Epic Safety, where health safety monitoring solutions were created. Alex began a notable career at Delta Controls Inc., where innovative products were developed, including the industry's first WiFi-enabled BacnetIP room thermostat and an open-source firmware platform for vertical integration across ARM Cortex families.
