Dr. Daniel Rippel

Vice President Strategy & Business Development at McMakler

Dr. Daniel Rippel has extensive work experience in strategy and business development. Dr. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at McMakler. Prior to this role, they worked at McKinsey & Company for almost 9 years, starting as an Intern in Management Consulting in 2012 and eventually becoming an Engagement Manager in 2013. In addition, Dr. Rippel has also held intern positions at Volkswagen AG, KPMG, and Kearney, gaining experience in consulting and corporate audit.

Dr. Daniel Rippel completed their education in various institutions. Dr. Daniel first attended Qingdao University in 2009, where they participated in the Summer School for Intercultural Studies. From 2008 to 2011, they studied at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Business Administration. In 2011, they pursued further studies at Tongji University and obtained a Bachelor of Management degree in Business Administration. Later, in 2012 and 2013, Dr. Rippel attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Strategic Management. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued their highest level of education at TU Dortmund University, earning a Dr. rer. pol. (PhD) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
