Product Designer at McMakler

Marco Simioni has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Marco recently joined McMakler as a Product Designer in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Conrad Electronic Group, where they held multiple UX/UI design roles, including Platform Strategy, Conrad Connect, and Graphic/UI design. Before Conrad Electronic Group, they worked as a Media Designer at Lejaa Marketing Agentur, focusing on web design. Marco also had experience as a UX/UI Designer at Office Sweets, where they translated requirements into user flows and prototypes. Marco worked as a Freelance Product Designer at both www.punktum-lab.com and Asm Or.Tech Orthopedics Technology, where they focused on comprehensive project development and eco-friendly solutions. Marco also worked as a Freelance Designer at gee plus gmbh and as a Product Designer intern at Berndt+Partner Creality GmbH. Lastly, they started their career as a Junior Designer at FANTONI Spa - agency and Clerk at Cartocontabile Bluoffice.

Marco Simioni attended Scuola Italiana di Design from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Creative Design. During their studies, they focused on industrial and product design, graphic and visual design, as well as web design.

In addition to their formal education, Marco has also obtained various certifications. In 2023, they completed the certifications "UX DesignOps: Managing Stakeholders" and "UX DesignOps: Overview" from LinkedIn. In 2021, they obtained the certification "Agile Foundations" from LinkedIn, as well as certifications in Adobe XD, including "Building a Responsive Component Library" and "Creating a Design System with Adobe XD." Furthermore, in the same year, they completed the certifications "UX Foundations: Research" from LinkedIn and "UI / UX Design" from Coursera.

Prior to these certifications, Marco completed several other online courses. In 2021, they completed the courses "Web Design: Wireframes to Prototypes" and "Web Design: Strategy and Information Architecture" from Coursera. In 2020, they completed the courses "UX Design Fundamentals" and "Visual Elements of User Interface Design" from Coursera.
