Jose Gabionza

Jose Gabionza has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jose started their career as a Vice President at SM Development Corporation, where they played a key role in land acquisition, business development, and financial planning. Jose then transitioned into the role of Assistant Vice President, supporting the COO in managing the company's operations and implementing strategies for real estate development.

After leaving SM Development Corporation, Jose worked as a Financial Analyst at WFG - World Financial Group, providing financial advice and offering various financial products to clients. Jose later joined H&R Block as a Tax Associate, preparing tax returns and assisting clients in optimizing their tax benefits.

Jose then moved on to Flores Financial Services, where they worked as an Accounting Associate 1. In this role, they managed vendor accounts, processed accounts payable and payroll, and maintained 1099 vendors. Jose also worked closely with clients and vendors to resolve issues and prepared month-end adjusting journal entries.

After their time at Flores Financial Services, Jose joined Sycuan Casino as a Staff Accountant, responsible for monthly closing of accounts and ensuring accurate and properly documented accounts payable. Jose also attended to government surveys and prepared adjusting journal entries.

Most recently, Jose worked as an Accounting Specialist at MD7, where they handled high volume invoicing, PO preparation, and daily cash receipts and check request processing. Jose also performed data entry for new vendors, coded vendors' invoices, and assisted in month-end closing activities such as reconciliation of accounts.

Throughout their career, Jose has demonstrated a strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively with clients and vendors.

Jose Gabionza completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Ateneo Graduate School of Business from 1988 to 1989. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Business Administration (BA) with a concentration in Accounting from the University of the East, which they completed from 1979 to 1983. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the Professional Regulation Commission in January 2013. Additionally, they obtained the Registered Tax Preparer certification from both the California Tax Education Council and the Internal Revenue Service in October 2014. In July 2013, they became a Resident Insurance Producer - Life Only Agent after obtaining the certification from the California Department of Insurance.
