Kees Zevenbergen

Kees Zevenbergen is an experienced leader in international cooperation and development, currently serving as the Director of Programmes & Operations at Malteser International since April 2024. Kees has held various significant positions such as Member of the Board for Achmea Foundation and Goede Doelen Nederland, and Chairperson of the Board at Nationaal Rampenfonds since January 2017. With a strong background at Cordaid as CEO until July 2023, and a pivotal role at SNV from 1997 to 2008 as Chief Strategy Officer, Kees has contributed to strategic planning, capacity development, and organizational transformation across multiple regions, particularly in West Africa. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Human Geography from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam, along with a Bachelor's from Utrecht University.
