Jayanka Serasinghe Bsc

Jayanka Serasinghe BSc(Hons), PMP, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Jayanka is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at MDO since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Delivery Manager at Limark Technologies from 2022 to September 2023. Jayanka also served as the Delivery Unit Head at Eyepax from August 2021 to September 2023. Before that, they worked as the Delivery-Global DevOps at Agile Innovations Group from March 2018 to October 2021. Jayanka has also held the position of Senior Project Manager at Virtusa from February 2014 to October 2021.

Earlier in their career, Jayanka worked at Fortunaglobal Private Limited, Sri Lanka as a Project Manager from March 2012 to October 2021. During their tenure, they successfully managed and executed projects with clientele such as Millennium IT and Bartleet Religare Securities (Pvt) Ltd.

Jayanka's career began at DirectFN as the Lead of Software Quality Assurance from August 2010 to March 2012. Jayanka was responsible for coordinating multiple projects and ensuring their success and acceptance. Jayanka also mentored staff and encouraged best practices in project management and planning.

Prior to this, Jayanka joined Virtusa as a Senior Engineer/Engineer in Software Quality Assurance from November 2007 to August 2010. Jayanka worked on a project for Aetna, a leading health insurance provider in the USA, where they provided software testing, automation, and development services.

Jayanka Serasinghe has a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Business Information Technology from Staffordshire University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. In 2011, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in the USA. Additionally, they completed Level 1 at the Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2006 to 2007. Prior to their tertiary education, Jayanka attended the Royal College in Colombo 7 from 1989 to 2003.
