Gilberto Galeazzi

Gilberto Galeazzi has a diverse work experience in various industries. Gilberto is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at MDOTM, where they lead AI-driven investment strategies for institutional clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Sailing Instructor at Centro Velico Caprera and as a Product Manager and Community Manager at Oval, a personal finance management app. Gilberto also held roles as an Academic Tutor and PhD Student at The University of Edinburgh, where they taught sociology classes, conducted research, and organized conferences. Additionally, they have experience as a Ski Instructor at Eleven Ski School and as a Minibasket Coach at Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro.

Gilberto Galeazzi has a strong educational background in sociology. Gilberto earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology from The University of Edinburgh, completing their studies from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociological Research from the University of Essex, which they attended in 2013 and 2014. Gilberto began their academic journey in sociology by earning a Bachelor's degree from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Before focusing on sociology, Gilberto briefly studied Biotecnologie at Università degli Studi di Milano from 2009 to 2010.

Gilberto obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council in January 2013, showcasing proficiency in English language skills. Furthermore, they hold certifications in Basic Life Support from the Italian Red Cross (obtained in March 2012) and Open Water Diver from PADI (obtained in April 2007). Lastly, Gilberto holds the certification of Musher di Primo livello from the Scuola Italiana Sleddog, which they obtained in February 2003.
