Amir Nakar

Amir Nakar, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience. Amir started their career as a Helicopter Mechanic in the Israeli Air Force from October 2009 to October 2013. Amir then worked as a Head Coach for Mazkeret Batya Gorillas from June 2015 to June 2018. In November 2016, they became a Lecturer at Achva Academic College, teaching Basic Computer Application for Teachers until April 2018. From November 2016 to October 2018, they were also a Masters Student at the Volcani Center. In November 2018, they became a PhD student at the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, where they worked until February 2022. Currently, they are the Scientific Affairs Lead at MeMed starting from February 2022.

Amir Nakar, PhD, completed their education at various prestigious institutions. Amir first pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Plant Sciences and Biotechnology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry and Food Science from the same institution, graduating in 2018. Amir then furthered their education at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they obtained a Certificate in Start Up Management from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2021.
