Group Director Of Customer Experience & Social Impact at Mears Group

Gary Jackson has extensive work experience in customer experience and community success roles. Gary is currently serving as the Independent Chair for the Customer Experience Advisory Board at Awards International since 2023, as well as a Board Member for the same board since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Mears Group PLC as the Group Director of Customer Experience & Social Impact from 2017 to present. Gary also served as the Group Director of Customer & Community Success from 2014 to 2017. Before joining Mears Group PLC, Gary worked at Balfour Beatty, UK Gas & Water - Service Division as the Head of Client & Customer Success from 2010 to 2014, and previously as the Snr Customer & Community Manager from 2006 to 2010. Gary has also held customer operations management roles at adidas from 2003 to 2006 and at Reebok from 1997 to 2003. Overall, their experience spans various leadership roles, including managing teams, shaping service strategy, improving performance, and exceeding customer satisfaction goals.

Gary Jackson completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Loughborough University from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Business Studies from Lancaster University from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, in January 2021, they obtained a certification as a Best Companies 3 Star Accredited Manager from Best Companies.
