C. Jeffrey Newton

C. Jeffrey Newton is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles aboard marine vessels. Currently serving as a 1st Assistant Engineer on the M/V Green Cove at SEACOR Holdings Inc. since May 2019, C. Jeffrey Newton also holds a position as a Marine Engineer with the MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since April 2012, and as a Technical Advisor at Sea Squadron LLC since June 2019, focusing on safety, environment, and improvement through inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance. Previously, C. Jeffrey Newton served as a 1st Assistant Engineer with Schuyler Line Navigation Company on the M/T Goodwill and spent over six years at Alaska Tanker Company, working up from 3rd Assistant Engineer to 1st Assistant Engineer, specializing in hydraulics, power distribution, and various engineering systems. C. Jeffrey Newton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from California State University Maritime Academy, earned between 2008 and 2012.
