James Gardner has extensive work experience in the engineering field. James started their career as a First Engineer at the Military Sealift Command in 2005 and held this position until 2010. In 2010, they joined MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) and initially worked as a First Engineer. James was later promoted to the role of Chief Engineer in December 2019, which they currently hold.
James Gardner attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Engineering Systems.
