James McPoland III

James McPoland III is a Marine Engineer who has had a long and successful career in the maritime industry. With experience in various roles at Matson Navigation Company, Inc., APL Maritime, and MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO), James has worked on a variety of vessels and projects throughout their career. After over three decades in the industry, James has recently retired and is looking back on their time with gratitude. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from SUNY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler.
